A full-gut kitchen remodel in Dana Point for a homeowner who knew exactly what she wanted. We worked with her designer to get the finishes she was after, and the gas, sewer and water lines were completely relocated as part of the job. The finished room has two-tone cabinets, with painted uppers to the ceiling over light wood lowers and slim brass pulls, plus a ribbed wood island with a veined stone-look top. A freestanding griddle range sits under a painted hood, with a pot filler on the range wall. The high-end finishes she chose made the job take a little longer, 9 weeks in all. CRS's owner says she was extremely happy with the result and that seeing it made the extra time worth it.

What made this Dana Point kitchen remodel high-end?
The finishes. The homeowner knew exactly what she wanted and worked out the selections with her designer, and CRS worked with the designer to get those finishes into the kitchen. The finished room has two-tone cabinets with painted uppers to the ceiling, light wood lowers and slim brass pulls. There is a ribbed wood island with a veined stone-look top, and a freestanding range with a flat griddle under a plain painted hood. The countertop material runs up the wall behind the range, where a pot filler is mounted.
